Recreational Soccer
General Information
Come join the fun this Fall and sign up your child for the world’s favorite sport – soccer! Our surrounding community education programs offer Pre K(age 4)-K, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade leagues for both boys and girls. Grades Pre K thru 3rd will be all in house- no travel required. We hope grades 4 thru 6 will get enough participates to make a league, but if not these teams will travel to Rochester 3 times a session. Practices are 1-2 times a week (depending on age) and games are on Saturdays.
This is a volunteer based program- all coaches are volunteers. Some coaches will have soccer experience and others will not. We offer a coaching curriculum to the local communities to help guide volunteer coaches in a developmental and research-backed approach. If your community ed is not using our curriculum, please encourage them to pursue this free resource.
Players should be registered based on the grade that they will be in for the 2022-2023 school year.
The rush Way
Recreational soccer stresses the participation, enjoyment, sportsmanship, skill development, safety, and teamwork aspects of the game. The goal is for the players to learn and fall in love with the sport of soccer.
